Heard about Tune, mostly the Bass Maniac way back, but never saw any in person. Every now and then I'd see one in the TB Classifieds and they were intriguing but didn't seem to fit any bands I was in or something. Maybe it's the recent purchase of my all time fave Steinberger XQ or just wanting a bass for me, not a band, that led to me to this funky, futuristic one. Got to try one at a local GC but it was kinda beat up and remembered seeing one in silver. A week later found this one on the GC used site! MIK and bargain price for what you get. Love the neck and the unique body shape which matches its unique tone. Really like the Jack placement too. Stoked!

Not the greatest pics but this is one NBD that I was too excited to share. Made myself a new avatar too.

Also, does anyone know the best way to straighten out the plastic truss rod cover?

That bass sold back in 2019

After a bad experience with Sam Ash, Tune stopped doing business in the USA, VSN in Canada was the only source for North America. The white fretless was a NAMM model.

Unfortunately I think, maybe wrongly, that VSN no longer sells Tune basses. There was a TB-er that was from VSN where I ordered a brand new Tune Hard Shell Bass case. After that I hadn’t seen any posts from him. I later found out from VSN that he passed away, but I didn’t ask if they were still an official dealership.
