NBD: Turquoise and Tort

These are really nice basses. Here's mine. I've done a few mods on it. Changed PG to Vintage white which is what Fender always used on custom color basses. Look how much the body color changed with the white PG. Changed pup to an EMG Geezer Signature. Upgraded wiring harness from Kelling Sound. Fender by Kluson hi-mass bridge. Dunlop StrapLoks. Not shown are the GOTOH Res-O-Lite vintage reverse tuners I added to the bass. One of my nicest playing basses. Initial setup after I got it home consisted of setting the relief. That was it, after that the action was low and it played clean. One of the good ones made that day.

Congrats! I was looking at these when GC had them on sale at Christmas for a ridiculous price. Something like $550. I like that color combo a lot, and in person, it looks even better. And the Player P really is a great bass for the price. I ended up getting a sunburst one and, like many hear, changed the bridge and tuners but kept the pickups. Enjoy!
