NBD Vintage SX content

Just got this baby in the mail today. Bought it off a guy on eBay for $130 shipped.

It has the old headstock, making it a super rare treasure.

Honestly, though it’s probably the nicest SX bass I have owned. The rosewood look SUPER nice. The neck doesn’t feel much different than a fender neck thickness wise. No terrible dead spots either. Not sure about what kind of body wood.

Haven’t had a chance to plug it in yet sadly. Tried putting a black SX pickguard on it, but it won’t fit due to the 21 frets. Super happy with the purchase!

I miss the days when these were in abundance at Rondo for less than $100 brand new. I had a very nice SX jazz that I bought new and sold for same price I bought it for many years later. How many new bass brands can you say that about?
