I grabbed one about 2 months ago when they first were released. Dropped EMG GZR pickups in it. Great bass, I may unload it though because of the neck thickness (or lack thereof). I’m used to my chunky neck Spectors.

Congrats! This Aerodyne P is the only Fender on my radar. I’ve been curious for some real world reviews. Nice to hear that it’s an excellent bass. I’ve got a Matt Freeman Squier that’s a light basswood P bass and sounds incredible, but that Aerodyne looks so cool.

Hesitated so much between the red and white P version as those were the only available here in France and finally went red.
Never thought i would be considering a white bass before but this one is really sexy.

I still have it -- and still think it's a great update to Fender's usual. Several times I've restrained myself to urge others to go snag one as I've seen prices on Reverb dip into the $599 area over Christmas ... I see some for $649 now and it's a great option for anyone who wants an excellent bass for a decent price.
