Yes the frettless is a macassar ebony top... :-)

Both are tuned E to C.. :-) a low B would not be good...

I highly recommend Wood and tronics basses... the owner Enrico is very friendly and very helpful... :-)

But trust me... if you compare them what they can do... price is stupidly low... not even close from fodera and all the top builders... trust me...
 
I can second that of what Pierre said!
These are ridiculously good instruments, best find on the bass market by a long shot for me personally, I played most of the top brands for some time before. The quality is very solid also I got to play a handfull of these and owned one (one on order now) and they all where exeptionally great.
