Well, actually N"O"BD. I found this Epi Thunderbird waiting for me in a pawn shop. It's by no means perfect, but also by no means ugly. The only things I found on it were some scuffing on the headstock (not uncommon) and an unsightly screw plugging the hole where previous owner moved a strap button. Nothing unfixable, especially considering I only paid $170 for her. Couldn't be happier. View attachment 2922636 View attachment 2922637
Did the previous owner sell it to help pay for back surgery?

Seriously though, that thing looks heavy.

Man, these Auto stereotypes are never gonna end are they? I have THREE T Birds, all are well under 9lbs, they don’t neck dive, they ain’t muddy and no headstocks have shattered into splinters :)

@bking0217 - Happy NBD!
You got quite a score there. Love the look of these birds in black. I'm fairly new to the TBird scene too (got my first one a few years ago) but I'll warn you now - these things are addictive (proof is in the pic below). The Eppi and Gibson birds do play and sound a bit different from each other but both are solid high quality basses that deliver the goods in any setting. Enjoy your journey to the dark side, you chose wisely!
