Squier II Made in India

Was missing output jack

Seems the truss rod hadn't seen the light of day since the factory

Previous owner dealt with neck bow by filing the nut slots down to 1mm so it will need a new nut.

The build quality is similar to a MIM but electronics are lacking

$40 at Goodwill

Nope, definitely India. There are some later Squier 2s that were MIK, but they're plywood bodies with maple fingerboards and no PG.

It's made in India, look it up. I could be wrong, but it has the same hardware as others that bear the made in India mark mine is missing for some reason. Also truss rod at heel which few if any mik basses have

I'd be interested in seeing it without the PG - I was surprised that my Encore has a routed out notch in the body for truss rod adjustments. Is the Squier 2 the same?

It does *not have the route but I'll post a picture in a day or two, pg removed and some photos of the electronics.
