Yes it is...dont get me wrong, it still has some mass but it is certainly a little lighter than the previous one i had.nice looking nat. 40, even better with those knobs. is it lighter weight than typical?

Only pic I can find on short notice because I only used it for recording.....it was a burgundy color, which I heard was rare....owned it for a long time but didnt have any sentimental value --- until way after I sold it. Yeah, it was stupid...The Stingray pictured is also gone -- but I don't miss that at all. I have had a love/hate relationship with Rays: When I dont have one, I miss it and want one....Then I get one and, after a bit, I'm "Meh...I miss my J basses..I dont need this" and off it goes...This has happened three times in my life since 1989 but I think Ive finally beaten it
