I’ve always liked a bass in corals. A coral bass with a full on Rosewood neck is kinda my dream.

Hello all, Its new bass day!...at least for me it is.

I have been looking for a P-bass for some time now. Vintage is my desire but the Fenders are out of my price range and way over valued IMHO...but I do want one! I wanted quality too and that classic "thud" P sound....so here she is!

I posted this thread Pickup/bridge covers with this bass in mind. I think I'm going to keep the cover on.

Beautiful bass and I know it plays and sounds great! I love my Lakie! I've only played a few but I've yet to come across one that I'd turn down. Enjoy!

I absolutely love the color. It reminds of a shade sometimes seen on stucco rooves (my kids make fun of me for spelling “roofs” that way, but too bad for them).
