Well, sort of! I bought a Gretsch G2202 Jr Jet Electromatic a couple months back from an ad here. I decided to give it a facelift by adding all gold hardware. Some bits were easy to find. The pick guard was made custom and I had to have the pup cover and 51 P bass ashtray plated.

topped it off with a set of LaBella Deep Talking black nylon flats after my local luthier rewired the electronics, cleaned and oiled the fretboard, polished and crowned the frets. Final add was a Gretsch double penguin strap in black and gold.

She is sweeeeet!

Just out of interest, did you have the pickup out of the body at any time when doing all the gold stuff?
I'd love to know if that has an actual mini-humbucker as advertised.

You may or may not know about this thread where @LowEndLobster found the two pickup 2220 actually has two single coil pickups in the same shell.... not mini humbuckers as advertised. Some owners of the single pickup 2202 have been able to confirm that they do have the mini humbucker installed in those versions.
