Got Schecter-curious and I needed a relatively inexpensive instrument that I was comfortable leaving at church and plays well. Picked up this Omen 5. I really liked the classic high gloss black with cream binding and the mildly carved body is nice.
Supposedly (according to the hype) they come set up ready to play . . . No. Needed truss rod adjustment and a neck shim to get nice low finger style action. But it DOES sound good and the intonation is pretty good for an offshore model. The finish looks fantastic and the fretwork is pretty nice.

Whoa, you’re ballsy!
), but if it plays for you = all that counts! congratulations on your new instrument!
