Actualy it was Wednesday, but haven't had a chance to post. Early '90s Carvin BB70 fretless. Purchased this sweet axe right here in TB land. Big thanks to Dan(bigdbass)!!!
Koa body, maple/koa neckthru, active preamp with the optional midrange control, Wilkinson bridge, Hipshot detuner, traditional 2x2 headstock with matched koa top, and original tweed HSC.
A lovely bass indeed. Sweet fretless tone, and plays incredibly well. This was purchased as an upgrade fretless. Honed my fretless chops on a 2000's Peavey Foundation with a lined board. Still love it, but I was ready to take the unlined plunge. Not as bad as I thought, and have grown comfortable with it pretty quickly. I am happy!!!

Thanks! The natural beauty of wood is hard to beat, and this has made me an instant fan of koa. And the gold hardware adds a nice touch of elegance and class.
