NCAA basketball!

GT played a good 1st half. Texas inched by. Memphis is anhilating UTEP at the half. Ole Miss got spanked. Zags beat Pepperdine by 10. Heat won by 20 and the Gators ran out of gas. 4 straight for the best in the Southeast. It'll be five after Saturday.

Duke fell. Texas lost again. Two courts ruined from 1000+ spectators storming out onto them. Way to be a fan.

anyway, i'm hoping taurean green (our point guard) gets his head back in the game because he's been totally sucking these last few weeks. ever since noah and he dominated kentucky, his playing went totally stagnant.

I remember that team. Erick Dampier was on that team, and I remember Marcus Bullard.
This isn't a good season for MSU, but they are normally a strong contender in the SEC West every season. I think they have won the SEC tourney a couple times, and the SEC West a few more.

Way before I was a student and gave a rat's but about MSU in the slightest.
In football drafting we were rated in the top 20 in the country as far as getting "star" caliber players. But that is probably because the major teams are already filled to the brim with talent. Texas was first, USC second, and I believe LSU was third.
While we would get destroyed by the Blue Devils on the BBall court, I think even MSU (gasp) could make them look foolish on the football field.
