i picked syracuse to go to the final four. :o

anyway, i'm happy to see indiana win. what an exciting last minute! i was jumping up and down when they nailed that three with like... five seconds left.

i'm looking forward to seeing ucla beat the tar out of gonzaga.

(assuming they make it past indiana! :p )

Ahhhhh.......got ya. I didn't even know Syracuse lost already. I thought they were playing tomorrow. I've been too busy shopping for a new bass to watch all 649 games today. I've got the game on now though.

It's a shame the UW Huskies are playing so late. I doubt many people back east are paying any attention to this game against Utah State. Brandon Roy is a stud! I'm thinking he's the third or fourth best player in the country. Not just because of tonight, he's been doing it all year in the shadow of Morrison and Reddick.

cbs switched on the "local" news right when the washington coverage began. :rollno:

oh! anyone predict the northwestern state upset over iowa!? that was NUTZ! in pools using the upset scoring system, that one was worth quite a bit!

i lost my first sweet 16 today in iowa. i have michigan state beating unc. my final four are pretty mundane -- duke, connecticut, UCLA, and villanova.

i got 14 of 16 yesterday, but today i'm already only 1-3. ouch. sentimentality caused me to pick arkansas and wisconsin. i john kerry'd both of those -- i picked arizona and bucknell before i picked arkansas and wisconsin. oh well. i still have 15 of 16 and 8 of 8. so far.

last year i got 7 of 8, and every game in from there. i am hopeful but not expecting such luck this year. the truth is, i don't know [expletive] about basketball. i just like watching it.

fiveway tie for first now! :D

i'm still in this one! ...at least for this weekend.

I am normally very poor at these brackets, so if I am anywhere near first for a couple days, I'm happy. By the time it get's down to 16, I'll have a firm grasp on last place.

I wonder how many brackets Kansas just screwed up.

Not me, I had them losing to Pitt anyway. I got hosed by Arkansas.

I'm going to go ahead and rave about Brandon Roy again, this guy is amazing. Here is a good article about him over at ESPN.com: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. I suggest y'all sit down at 5:30EST today and watch Roy and the UW Huskies play Illinois.

Yes indeed!! I was so glad to see them drop out.

Did anyone see the UW Huskies and Illinois game? I'm tellin' ya, Brandon Roy is a s-t-u-d.

saw most of it.

dee brown had a really good game. they just came up short.

i was surprised how close it was for ucla against alabama. that alabama team was seriously underrated, i think.

gonzaga beat indiana, which was no surprise; indiana has just been struggling. if mr. wimpy mustache morrison plays a game like that against ucla next weekend, the bulldogs will be headed home for sure. (and i've called ucla beating'em anyway!)
