So, I work at the University, and my office is in the student center. They had every TV, radio in the place all tuned in for it and the place was packed (thursday is a very busy class day here). I happened to be stuck at my desk while everyone I work with snuck out to watch the wrap up. Everytime there was a shot, especially Gerry, the whole building (and its big) shook. I could even hear the crowd several floors away.

You have to feel good for Gerry MacNamara, he's a nice guy(I do come in contact with SU athletes in my work), he plays well and works for it.

can you imagine if they beat uconn, georgetown, and villanova!?


(not really an orange-men fan; i just like seeing the big teams in the big east go DOWN! :hyper: )


i'm also pulling for indiana. they'll be up against ohio state next! :eek:

whoa, pittsburgh is up by 11 over villanova at halftime.

and florida's 12 point lead over arkansas shrunk to just four by halftime. :scowl:

edit 1: whoah, who'd have guessed it would be pittsburgh vs. syracuse for the big east title? :eek:

edit 2: the florida game was a freakin' nail biter. just squeaked by, despite our being up by 12 three times during the game. whew.

I'm up to my eyes in floor tile, cabinets, and granite today remodeling our master bathroom. I just come down here to check in on the mighty Gators! WooHoo!!!!!

Who did they beat again? Wasn't it some team from Louisiana somewhere that was supposed to be super awesome for sweeping all the conference awards? You know anything about that bigbeefdog? :D

I didn't get to see any of this week's games...I've either been at work (at the university, no TV, no radio in the office) or at home, and since I'm too cheap for cable, I can't get it on TV.

I did have NCAA up on my computer though to check the score. Beyond it being my Alma Mater, it's also my job, and any current/future wins will change my work environment for the next few months pretty drastically.

Yep. Dat's us. I didn't see the game, but heard about it. :(

Believe it or not, I was hoping we'd lose today. I don't think we'd have gained much in seeding for the NCAA's (we're probably a #3 regardless), and with all the nagging injuries we have now, the LAST thing we needed was another game on Sunday. We gotta rest, and get healthy for next week (and get Tyrus Thomas back on the court).

Nice game, Gators.

Look out for tomorrow... those Gamecocks are gonna be JACKED UP. They need that automatic bid, y'know....
