The scary thing is U of M has a real shot at being in the Big Ten title game this year. The only decent team in the conference is WS. And they're in the other division. But then again everyone else (except MN) has a shot too. The Big Ten is really bad this year.
Fixed. Getting steamrolled by Bama and LSU's O-lines and not getting enough blocking from our O-line were, IMO, the biggest factors in those losses.
Yep, I think if Michigan faces the Badgers in the title game, they're in for a reality check. You can't throw 3 picks and win against a really good team.
I agree, but they could be 8-2 or 9-1 when they get there. This U of M team would be a mid tier team in the Big 10 in a normal year. But MSU can't run the ball and Cousins looks confused against even mediocre defenses. Penn State looks one dimensional. The sad fact is even Purdue or Il have a chance in this conference. MN is really bad, I don't see them winning one game in conference play, in Nebraska every pass is an adventure, and OSU looks incapable of a balanced offense or protecting their QB. That's IF they don't get the death penalty. I do expect that U of M will improve as the season progresses because they are so young. But they are in reality about a 7-4 team in a normal year.
