Week 6

Honestly, I've been busy and don't really know much about any games coming up this weekend. I'll be at the Bama-Vandy game with my 8 year old son if your ticket connection comes through as expected. This will be his first game, and he's very excited. We'll make a long day out of it. He want's to get a good spot on the Walk of Champions so that he can see Saban, Richardson and Maze up close.

I'm looking forward to Florida-LSU just because. Florida might actually play better after getting beaten, so LSU better not take anything for granted.

So - this weekend, Washington State vs. UCLA.

The suddenly achieving Cougs (3-1, with 3 wins equaling their entire win total over the past two years) vs. the underachieving Bruins (2-3, with more "quality losses").

Cougs passed for almost 400 yards vs. Colorado last weekend, scoring two TDs in the last 5 minutes, showing they can come from behind - for the first time since 2008's Apple Cup when they did it to beat the Huskies in double OT.

I say Cougs by 3 in an upset.

Les Miles should be a good job revealing what else Muschamp will need to work on this offseason to make the Gators better next year. Then again, it's fairly obvious to most Gator fans what needs to be fixed, but hey, I'll take another lesson on Saturday. :D

Glad to be back m'friend. Life has been too slammed for me to even think here lately but im working my way back into the swing of things. With that being said, October is going to be ROUGH for us. Well, the end of november too. I just REALLY want to take down the Gators at home. You know that Jacksonville is a complete Gator city and well, I want to be able to gloat a little. :D How ya been?

Yeah, pretty much agree as usual. Even in my most optimistic scenario--Driskel benefits a lot from a week of taking the starter's role in practice and LSU commits more than its usual high numbers of turnovers and brain-fart penalties (as they tend to do under Miles)--the Gators don't really come close.

Really wish I could go this year but oh well. I'm predicting Oklahoma to win 34-27.

What else is going on this week....

OK State v. Kansas. Boring. OSU kills.
K State v. Missouri. Should be interesting. Giving it to K State; Mizzou has performed horribly on the road.
Texas A&M v. Texas Tech. Aggies lost 2 in a row and want redemption. A&M and Tech has always been a good game and I'm expecting this to be similar.
Iowa State v. Baylor. Snooze.

LSU v. Florida. Geaux Tigers.
Bama v. Vandy. Should be an easy game. Have fun with your son, Eublet!

Stanford v. Colorado. Meh.
Michigan v. Northwestern. I'm glad Michigan has finally gotten their stride back. I missed Michigan being a contender and can't wait for them to stomp Ohio State.

What chart are the Cougs on? I can't find them in the rankings or even "receiving votes" category.:D I will pay attention to their game with Stanford if they beat up on UCLA first.
