well, we went 1-1 today

of course bama beat vandy pretty good- shock and awe there, hunh? ...

but our real game, no surprise, was Georgia-Tennessee... you know, i've been a long-time Georgia fan... since about 6:00 pm tonight if memory serves me correctly. very satisfying win.

georgia hasn't had an undeafeted season in a long time, but this year, they will be 1-0; good work dogs! (what's that, you say they have 10 other games? who cares); my only regret is that the game was played at knoxville so those rednecks won't have the looonnngggg drive home.

Aye carumba...rolled up, blown out, smoked, beat down, smacked, you pick the term. That is just not fun. I was busy packing all day, so I didn't watch a single game. I did listen to the Gators on the radio. Like the radio color guy said today, the optimist says "the Gators are gonna be good next year". I think so too.

Dangit. Cougs lead most of the game, leave two TDs in the lurch and settle for field goals early, then lose by 3 after a late UCLA TD. Not much joy, but at least our running game is coming along.
