@Pilgrim College GameDay is in Seattle this weekend. It looks like Pullman will have to wait another year. I can't see them coming back to this state in two weeks.
Interesting fact: this is the first time ever College GameDay and Monday Night Football were in the same town the same week.

There is some buzz around the possibility of GameDay showing up in Boulder next week. If so, I have sent a request to be the Coug flag waver.
Much to my relief, the Gators took care of business. And if they hadn't turned it over twice inside SC's 20, it might have been a rout.
Meanwhile, we've had one big upset with Clemson losing in the final seconds to unranked Pitt. And two more could be on the way with Louisville down 12-3 to Wake (!) and the Huskies down 11 to USC at the half.
It's a good night to be home watching football.

It's a bit of a relief. They got their clunker out of the way. It's a little like the first scratch on a brand new car.
UW blew it. They would have wound up #2 if the beat USC. If Auburn found a way to win the Iron Bowl, they'd end up #1 going into the playoffs.
Most of my UW buddies are good fans, but I won't let the obnoxious ones forget what they gave up tonight.

Sittin' in the catbird seat after dealing with Cal. The Cougs are atop the PAC-12 North, Colorado is atop the PAC-12 South with one loss, and Wazzu has no conference loss.
Next weekend, there will be hordes of Crimson & Grey in Boulder - including me! I lost my shot at waving the flag, as GameDay is going to Kalamazoo. Western Michigan is one of two undefeated teams. I rather doubted that they would come to the site of two PAC-12 games in a row.

After the Huskies' loss yesterday, the Cougs could win the Pac-12 if they win out. What a reversal of fortune! I hope they win next week so that the Apple Cup is for all the marbles. Actually, it would be as long as UW wins next week. The Cougs could screw it up against Colorado, beat UW, and still win the north. It's not that often the Cougs have their fate completely in their own hands, but that's where things lie.
