We know who is in the playoff. The rest of the bowls will fall into place now. I'll be rooting for Oklahoma for national champions, and Washington wherever they end up.

[edit] Ohio State and USC in the Cotton Bowl. I hope Ohio State mops the place with Sam Darnold. USC quarterbacks just need to be kicked around on general principles. Washington and Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl. That could be a whole lot of fun, what with Penn State's rushing attack against Washington's usually ferocious but not 100% reliable rushing defense. I haven't paid enough attention to Penn State to know what their strengths are otherwise.

Wazzu and Michigan State to the Holiday Bowl!!

I'm hoping for a much better outcome than last year, although I think MSU will be a big bite.

I like San Diego and have friends there that I usually only see when bowl games occur. I'm looking forward to San Diego in late December. Rest assured there will be LOTS of Crimson & Grey in town for the event. Cougs travel well, and there are tons of us in Californy.

Go, COUGS!!

Cougs will whup on the Trojans, er Spartans. They have a history of whupping on people with that kind of mohawk harcut looking helmet logo. Some are red and yellow. Some are green and white. Cougs will prevail. I have no doubt since they are playing Michigan State.

History: USC is 58-10-4 vs. WSU.

I guess you were just having a little fun with us.

U$C owns that series, but the Cougs do have a habit of winning at inconvenient times...LIKE THIS YEAR!

WSU was the one team to beat both U$C and Stanford this year. Go figure. It does reinforce the fct that other teams hate to play in Pullman. It's a remote location, takes time to get to, and the crowd is VERY loud.

Really hoping the Sooners can go the distance this year. Baker is nigh unstoppable, the O line is one of the best in the country, and the defense is actually good now. Should make for an interesting playoff.

Also, I'm glad Bama-Clemson is only one of the semi rounds - three times is enough!

As for A&M, I'll be curious to see whether or not Jimbo makes his coaching debut at the Belk bowl.

Saban has plenty of time to prepare for Baker and Oklahoma. Alabama will be ready and out to prove the committee made the right choice in picking them over Ohio State.
Of every bowl game, this is the one I am most sure of. Alabama rolls up Oklahoma.

Favorite (by which I mean most ridiculous) bowl game names this year:

Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl: Florida Atlantic vs. Akron
Not only does this sound goofy, but cherries don't actually grow in Florida. And FAU gets to play a bowl game in its home stadium! Jeez.

Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl: Temple vs. Florida International

DXL Frisco Bowl: SMU vs. Louisiana Tech

Walk-On's Independence Bowl: Southern Miss vs. Florida State
I don't think this company has a Wiki page. Turns out it's a sports bar chain in Texas and Louisiana.

Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl: Texas vs. Missouri

Would you buy mowers from these men?

Now, I can agree with this.

Alabama probably won’t see Oklahoma. Very little chance they get past Clemson.

Not sure what Arizona State are doing. Herm Edwards? Really? Dude hasn't coached in 10 or more years and hasn't been in college since the 80's. If I want someone to pump up my team, gimme Herm all day e're day. But to coach? I dunno 'bout that. He was not a great x's and o's dude in his last coaching gig. . .

I like him a ton, but not as a college HC. Still, I wish him the best. He's a solid cat.
