They must be regional ads. I've watched lots of college football this season and never saw one of those commercials.

Never mind the national title implications, this seems to be a pretty good year for bowl game matchups. The big rash of upsets scrambled everything to the point that there are some games that look like they could be great games, at least on paper.
About all of 'em. I wasn't thinking of those games. Paying attention before December 27 or so is hit or miss at best.

I said it before and I'll say it again--he has a rep as a great recruiter in the state of Florida, but is he a great coach? He has a record of improvement, but not anything resembling greatness. In eight seasons, he's lost at least five games every year but one. The jury is out, IMO.

Everybody knew Taggart was going to FSU as soon as Jimbo Fisher went to Texas A&M, so it isn't that shocking. If that's really where he wants to be then good for him. We will see who Oregon hires. The local sports radio was pretty amusing this afternoon.

So deep, I failed to realize Bama has to play and beat Clemson first.
I'm a Gator fan, but appreciate the impressive run Saban has the Tide on.
Seeing how the committee agreed with me and put them in the playoffs, there really aren't four other teams better than Bama. It's not complete Kool Aid consumption. They are friggin' good.

Oregon is the team I reflexively root against, they have the worlds ugliest uniforms, they have the most irritating fans, they are a wholly owned subsidiary of a shoe company, and they have no redeeming value... and it's really lame what Taggart did to them.
Copy the Beavers and bring back on old QB.
