No Pac12 in this year's playoff I guess...

Nope. Not a chance. I can stop doing complicated mental calculations and go back to watching football now. Jake Browning will probably be back for his senior season next year. I don't know about Miles Gaskin. He might declare, but then, he might stick around for another year. It will all depend on what whoever rates prospects tells him, I guess. Why come out if you are going to be a sixth round pick?

Yep. Teams in the Wacky Pac just keep bumping each other off.

I don't have any stats in front of me that prove anything, but those Thursday and Friday night games - or as Fox Sports calls it, "Pac-12 After Dark," as if it's some sort of swarmy lounge show - are bad news for the favorites going into the games. Weird things happen.

Auburn is taking it to Georgia. If they win, how far will the Bulldogs fall?

Auburn took it to them hard. No redeeming style points for Georgia on that one. Now, Alabama has to get whupped, too. Then maybe we can see UCF or somebody in the playoff. That would make my season, even if UW is long gone at this point.

Dartmouth cranks up the defense for national TV, and Jack Heneghan put on a show through the air. Impressive win, even though Brown isn't all that good this year. Buddy Teevens is doing a great job with the Big Green.

Oh my Georgia. Where did that come from?
Alabama is now carrying the hopes of all SEC fans.

And the Convicts are destroying the Catholics at this point. This makes this SC fan very happy.

Speaking of SC - they've got to do a better job of finishing games. Congrats to the Trojans for winning the Pac-12 South, though. Just waiting for Washington/Washington State/Stanford to straighten things out in the North.

Actually, I think Bama gets in even if they lose one (as long as it’s not in the SEC title game). Georgia probably gets in with one loss if they pull it out in Atlanta (unlikely). The PAC 12 is out, and now Notre Dame is as well. The only undefeated or one loss Power 5 teams left outside the SEC are Miami/Clemson, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma.

Gotta love college football. Everything you know is always wrong. Except Alabama. They should be illegal.

Okay, Miami and Wisconsin...I'm a believer now! Clemson...I'm still not too sure. Oklahoma? Looking good.

At this point of the season, it looks like there's no unbeatable juggernaut out there, especially after the way Alabama struggled to beat Mississippi State.
