NCD - Acoustic 106 fixer upper

Hey everyone, I bought used Acoustic 106 2x15 cabinet today for 100-ish bucks. The bottom speaker is the original Eminence, but the top speaker is a non-black widow Peavey. With both speakers wired in parallel, the Peavey is farting out big time. I unplugged the Peavey and just ran the bottom Eminence and there's no farting and it sounds sweet.

Is there a current 8ohm 15" Eminence speaker (or other manufacturer) that I could use to replace the farting out old Peavey?

BTW -I ran both my PF350 and Fender Bassman 100T into the cab. At 100 watts it was farting out the Peavey almost immediately. I was on vintage channel set to 5-2-2 with volume and master volume no higher than 6. Once I unplugged the Peavey I could crank up the volume to about 8 without farting - it really sounded sweet.

Anyway, if someone can recommend a replacement speaker that will work well with the old Eminence, that would be great!

Those are older speakers, right? I wonder if there's anything new that would be good fit (sonically that is)?

I've been browsing parts express and us speaker. Tons of options. I guess I'll call them and see what they recommend. A neo speaker to lighten up the cab would be cool.

The Eminence Kappalite 3015 should work well, 2515 II is a little less cash but buy a pair of either. Using either one with the existing ceramic could cause big problems. Both speakers share the same internal acoustic space and dissimilar drivers can work against each other or combine in a bad way at other frequencies.
