So I have a Conklin GTBD-7 which I have finally gotten set up to my liking and yet I keep finding little snags with it's playability. Mainly the finish on the back of the neck is really tacky and I MUCH prefer a oiled/raw necks feel. Any way I could help this? Even strip the finish? I know that is probably a TERRIBLE idea but man, I really want this thing to be smooth.
