Neck thickness

Hey. So I'm getting started on a build and have some maple thats 3/4in thick (.76 to be exact). Since the guy wants a one piece maple neck I figured I'd use what I already have. Would such a thin blank be suitable? I'd be using a scarf joint, dual action trussrod, 1/4in flat fingerboard. As usual, thanks for your help!

if using a dual action truss rod, you need the neck without fretboard to be a minimum of 1/2" finished depth tapering to 3/4" finished depth at the 16th or where ever your heel is going to start.13/16" to 7/8" for the heel depth. Add your fretboard, and you have .75 at nut, .90 at 16, and 1.125 at heel, just from the few bolt ons I have done

It's best to start from 5/4 to achieve a good one-piece neck. You can compensate for this neck by shortening the neck pocket depth.
