Can you put a USA Fender Jazz Bass neck on a USA Fender P Bass. I had a wrist broke years ago on my left hand, and sometimes I have a cramping problem. I find I don't have that problem on guitar when I play. I talk to my Doctor who is a musician. And he suggested a thinner neck, his brother is a bass player and had same problem. He went to a Jazz bass cause of the thinner neck. He said it work for him, and he didn't have such a problem with it.

yes, you can put any 20 fret 34" scale Fender neck on any 20 fret 34" scale Fender body, regardless of country of origin.

In my experience, I have put a Jazz neck on a P body, but the bass I'm currently rehabbing, a MIM Jazz five string body, wouldn't accept a Mighty Mite five string P neck. The neck pocket was 1/8" to narrow on each side. I had to route it a little, no easy feat for a novice.

But yes, Jazz neck on P works. You may have a hair extra room, but only maybe you may notice.
