Hi there!
So, I am after something quick, that will allow me to do both audio and video straight on the phone with built in compression/levels without fiddling in Audition and Premier for 10 hours for 2 minutes of reel.
I thought I would use my Sony Xperia 1 V phone, connected to my favorite XLR's (I have some SH55 and Blue Sparks) via the new MVX52U DSP adapter straight to my phone, and then just hit record on my video app after setting up the Shure Motiv settings.
The other option is what yall are doing - is go use my computer audio interface (minifuse2) to record the audio while the Sony films, then edit/compress/level the audio strip, then hook it up and manually sync the audio stripe to the phone video, but that adds half an hour of work at least and is sucking out any creative life force in me.
Anyone here using the MVX2U in the same way and think it's a good solution for my use case? Before I burn 129$ on this gadget.
