Hello all! First thread on Talkbass so forgive me if I mess something up or I've posted in the wrong spot.
I recently received a Mayones Jabba VF5 through UPS Ground, and upon arrival the electronics seem to have received damage during shipping (seller sold as mint condition on Reverb). Chiefly, the Darkglass tone capsule pot is able to over-rotate, and this causes a pop which cuts all signal in active mode. Here's a video of what I'm describing:
I'm not familiar with the inner wiring of guitars, so any advice on: (1) how easy is this to fix, (2) how to fix it, (3) what kind of repair shop to take it to, (4) how expensive this is to fix, is greatly appreciated! I'm planning on claiming a Reverb Safe Shipping claim as well.
A photo below of the internal wiring, if it's helpful.
Thank you folks for your time!
