The cab's sensitivity and power handling gives you volume. I had an Acme Low B-2 series II and there were tales of people running 1000W through them. It's a low efficiency cab and has a lot of low end extension if that's your thing, but with a 300 or so watt head, I was lost in the mix. For that particular project I ended up using a Trace combo that I picked up at Guitar Center that provided far more "in the mix". The Trace combo was a steal at $100.
