There is nothing wrong with keeping money in pocket. Being able to step back and assess is a solid trait.

I'm really surprised at this. I've had six of them, both Korean and Indonesian, and they were all excellent. I still have three of them.

Also, keep an open mind and don't arbitrarily confine yourself to specific makes or models. One of the all around nicest PBs I've ever owned is a Squier Matt Freeman. Mine sounds like angels and plays like a dream. The fact it was ridiculously inexpensive and had a name on the headstock that won't get you any bragging rights made no difference to me. It plays well and sounds really good. And nobody was more surprised about that than me.

I like my Matt Freeman too, a nice bass.

Well here is a little update:
I'm still waiting on my neck and body from warmoth. I ordered some Gotoh reverse wind tuners (which I received) and a Gotoh 201 bridge. I also ordered and received from warmoth some copper shielding, a solid black pickguard, and black pickguard screws. I probably have a couple more weeks to wait for the neck and body.

Update #3: Just received my neck and body from warmoth. All I can say is wow the quality is great. I think the bass is going to be heavy though, but my shoulder can take it. No sharp fret ends on the neck, but compared to my CV 70's P Bass neck, the wood is alot thicker and more substantial.

Update on my side ... received my Am. Pro. loaded body plus Am. Std. Jazz bass neck from Stratosphere...
American quality is top notch... finish is very good and the bass is super light... the rosewood of the neck has got very long and clear stripes which makes it honestly speaking the best looking rosewood fretboard I've ever put my hands on .. but what matters more is that te V-mod pickups definitely defeat and overpass any P bass pickup I've owned including the famed EMG GZR which now I want to take off my MIJ PB70 ... :thumbsup:

Ok guys last update before I make another thread:
The P-Bass is almost finished! I decided against a relic job. I wanted something different and I think I got it. I'm probably going to pick the bass up this weekend and I'll make another thread. Can't wait to show you guys!
