I voted Tribute Fallout. Bought one in 2022 and have been very happy with it. You can pick a B-stock one up from the G&L web store for 375 (before shipping) right now.

Thanks for the info. Been wanting one of the tribute fallouts for a while and the price for B stock pushed the decision over the edge. Looking forward to it arriving now.

Thanks to everyone that voted and commented. After having narrowed my choices down to two, I finally made a decision. The tone and looks of the Fallout had me leaning that way, but in the end I went with the Sire U5. Started thinking about my 10 year old granddaughter and two year old and newborn grandsons, figuring one way or another I’m gonna get one of them into playing bass. With the smaller U5, I can start in on each of them at a younger age. If any one of them decides to pursue it, I have something to give them that they will be comfortable with without having to stretch to reach those low notes. Putting LaBella flats on it, and hoping I’m as happier with it as LowEndLobster was…
