need help finding a band

Well it was bound to happen. My band broke up. I've hung signs in the local guitar stores looking for a band to join/form and even posted on Bandmix.com but so far it's been pretty quiet. Any suggestions for finding local talent to get a band going again? I live in the Portland Maine area. Thanks!

I live not too far from Portland. What kind of music are you in to? I know a lot of great guitar players who are always looking to play with people.

I've been playing in rock cover bands -- everything from '60's - to today. I also enjoy playing blues - real blues, not just Eric, SRV and BB. I'm open to originals if they're upbeat tempo and something bars/club crowds would enjoy.
