Need lighter cabs

Mesa Subway 115 is probably the all-around winner in the current 115 category. Sound great, reliable, light but sturdy, unbeatable service.

I'm sure I'd love the Mesa 115s everyone is recommending. Except: you can't buy them. Mesa is experiencing supply chain problems and I'm being told I'd have to wait 4-6 months if I ordered today.

I'm leaning towards Genzler or Barefaced.

By all accounts, both of those are also great choices.

How fortunate we are to live in a world where Genzler and Barefaced are the backup options!

They're great stuff! Prices are comparable to Mesa Subway. Performance comps, I can't answer for but, as most will say, they'll get the job done, too.

I got the Barefaced BB3 due to weight as I am in my 60's and have a lot of joint issues. It weighs about 24lbs (cloth grille) and with my class D Aguilar TH 500, the whole rig is less than 30 lbs. sounds great and fills churches holding 400 people.

I know the OP asks for 15's and I am sure there are some really good ones; for my money I am with you phephron- the Barefaced BB2 I own outperforms almost all 15's IMO. Mine has metal grill and is, I think, 29 lbs. It has a horn that can be rolled off to driver (if horn isn't your thing). It's a slightly bigger box than a SM, and I believe bigger even than a SC, despite being under 30 lbs, and (perhaps in part as a consequence of its enlarged cavity) the bass response is really phenomenal - from the back of a medium size bar you might think there was PA support pushing the bass, it's so non-directional and warm. Add a class D head like a GK MB800 and so many others, and I have a >35lbs rig including the cables. A quick and easy load in/out is great.

Great lightweight, sturdy cabs, and they sound amazing. Mine have finally been "broken in" and just sound fantastic.

People keep suggesting these but aren't they back ordered until like next Summer? Aged Horse said they are not even taking orders at the factory for the Subway cabs until they fulfill existing back orders.

Used is an option of course but it seems finding a new one is nearly impossible.

They are backordered, but those dealer back orders are being filled all the time, so they are entering the market. We hope to be pretty much caught up in several months.

I'd be checking out the Genzler Bass Array 15-3 as well. It's a little over budget, but I have only heard good things about it. The website spec is 35 lbs.

I am currently using a Greenboy Fearless F112 for just about everything I do and it hasn't let me down yet and can fill a small to medium sized room just fine. I think it rings in at about 37/38 lbs. It feels substantial, but not too heavy although not super lightweight by today's standards. It was also quite expensive.

Schroeder 15s are 35 lbs. There's usually some demo units at reduced prices.

Another Schroeder fan/vote. I've had two 1210L's and two 1215L's, three of which I still have. All very light and varying degrees of small (the really old black one is the smaller, much older design):

The Mini 8+L is 400watts at 14lbs, and, while I've never played one and it isn't a 12 or 15. That is a lot of power in a tiny box and Schroeder is yet to disappoint me. Jorg is great. Happy customer here.

Well, another +1 for the Mesa SW 15. However, still no better tone-to-weight ratio than my Bergantino HDN 210 and 112 stack. Still get all the bottom end I need but sooooo much more punch and articulation than any other rig I have owned, except for maybe the Bergantino Reference 210 and 112 stack I had. Just sayin

I'm simply chiming in to say that all of the AudioKinesis 15" cabs will destroy worlds yet schlep pretty easy; a Thunderchild 15" with a Puma900 is my first choice when I want a single trip but need to summon doom.

There are some lightweight MAS cabs that move insane amounts of air with small drivers and light weight, but the OP wants a 15" cone so that's that.
