The Carvin will go 1500 bridged at 4 ohm. The GK is more than enough.

You want massive clarity, this will do.

Don's use an 18" speaker because these only deliver at far distance (from 35 meters and beyond...).

Really? THIS again? There are valid reasons to use something other than 18's but this isn't one of them.

I would suggest leaving your rig as it is and getting a set of In Ear Monitors, that way you and your bandmates still get the lows from you rig in the room, but you get plugs to reduce their volume and you get the clarity of yourself at reasonable levels in your ears too

Its a win win IME, plus at shows you can have full monitor mix in your ears

Without a budget no good advice can be given
Also wouldn't hurt to know what type of bass tone you like by comapring to some known band; one man's clean tone is anothers fuzz box

Massive volume. Like take no prisoners, burn your village, defile your women, slaughter your animals volume. Oh? and it has more clarity than any other cab I have played. Your EQ matters because small changes really change your sound.
