Need some Help Deciding.

I've been looking at getting a new bass for quite some time, and with Tax season coming I think... what the hell? I'm kinda on limited funds due to I need a new Amp. But anyways... I hope you guys can help shed some light on my problem... Now, I'm kinda of a short person. My Arm Length is only. 27" and my middle finger length is only like 2 1/2" so... I'm not really looking for a super long Bass but, I've been looking at these few and been wondering, in your guys's opinion which is the best for the money, now remember I only have $300 to spend.

Ibanez SRX2EX1

A big problem is, is that I can't play most if any of these I live in a very small town and our music store is really dinkie, but anyways as of right now I'm using an Ibanez GSR190, I don't mind it at all, but I just think there is better out there... ya know? Also I've been playing for around 2 months and I'm starting to Scales fairly easy now, still having some what of a problem once in awhile but I seem to be learning pretty fast.

well thanx for the help. :bassist:

No more heavy then a Fender Jazz I would say. Playing sitting down could be uncomfortable after awhile with all the pointed ends. But no, its not overly heavy imo.

I have also heard that peavy's are great basses, same with Ibanez (Im not really a fan of their necks, too thin for me) but ESP does not always get the thumbs up by people on the forum.
