Need some help with my rig setup

I am trying to run another cab off my set current set up, but i am not sure what is going to sound best. I would like a 6x10 or another 4x10. I am running a Markbass SD800, Livewire Power Conditioner, BBE Sonic Maximizer 382I, Ampeg PR410H 600w/1200w programmable (not the HLF), and my pedal board. I am playing in a some what progressive metal band at the moment along the lines of Mastodon, Baroness, Isis, Pelican, Russian Circles......ect. We are a three piece band and my guitar player uses a loop sometimes, but i do a lot of carrying so i need something that is going to help fill up the sound little more. I would also like to keep the PR410H in my setup so i can have a cab on both sides of me on stage :spit:

Firstly dont split your cabs like that. That is a recipe for horrid phasing. Stack them, with the top one rotated slightly. Second your Markbass head is 4 Ohm stable, just get a second 8 Ohm PR410H. It will be the best match for your current cab. I think the issue you are running into is that your head only has one speaker out? Your cab should have two speakon jacks on the back. Plug the head into one, and the other cab into the other. This is a parallel connection, and two 8 Ohm cabs in parallel results in a 4 Ohm impedance. This should net you somewhere around 6 dB of volume with the same settings, which is a decent jump.

Just a devil's advocate question. What do you think the sonic maximizer and the power conditioner add to your rig? If I was going to change anything I would ditch the sonic maximizer.

+1 to the above replies.

If you have PA support, you can face one cab forward for you, and rotate the other a full 90 degrees to face across stage for the other guys.

If your backline carries the room, you can still do that if one cab is enough output out front, otherwise aim them both at center audience....keep them stacked, not separated in any case. If you are carrying the house with your rigs, get out there and listen/make tone adjustments according to what it sounds like out there, not up on stage right next to the rig....it's different.

what bass would u recommend for this kind of music guys? My band plays this kind of style(more Mastodon influenced) and i'm thinking these days of buying a fender p or j. (one of the mim classic series)
