Aaaarrrggghhhh again with this old myth. Both of you, please check the FAQ, and search on "underpowering" to learn the actual facts.

Bottom line, distortion does not inherently harm any speaker, and giving a speaker "too little" power will never hurt it.

I'm truly sorry, I certainly didn't mean to perpetuate a myth and cause any confusion. I feel even worse that this info is in the FAQ. <ashamed>
