Need working band gear advice

I always have PA support with my band so I bring my Fender Bassman 150 combo with a 12 inch speaker. Sometimes I will use my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 - 210t. I have never had a problem hearing my self or anyone else in the band hearing me.

I just tried the GK MB 210 and it wasn't my cup of tea. I will try the MarkBass II and the Ibanez Promethean. I have to try a Hartke LH500 not so light at 25 pounds but 'cause I found a deal on one.

I'm still like a 210 for now and adding another down the road.

I play in three working bands and use a powerhouse 212 and FoH support. I also use 115 for coffee house gigs.

Two Aguilar GS112's and an Eden Wt800. The main band: two electric guitars, one acoustic guitar, keys incl. B3 & Leslie, and drums. More than enough on stage. 8 ohm cabs, amp on 3 to 5 depending on stage size.

I use a sansamp psa 1. Almost fits in the glove compartment. No amp. in ear monitors

I use a 212 and a 115 cab, and various combinations of. I also use Phil Jones Suitcase and a BG800 depending on the gig. The Orange SP212 is a kickin' cab, 600 watt and small, but puts out lots of great low end. The Isobaric cabs are all pretty impressive. Phil Jones 5in. speakers scare some people, but they cut the mix like nothing else.

My band does have its own PA with subs and monitors though so i dont need much...

Right on! I use a 2x15 for everything from small to huge venues. If I can't fit it on stage, I'll use my Acoustic 260.

Check out the new Orange range also. I have used a huge variety of different gear and I'm now sticking with the new Orange compact stuff - it's brilliant.

I have a Markbass Slim Head 450 and a old modified Mackie sub with a 15 that sounds stupid. Louder than heck and tons of lows.

I loves me Bag end stack S15-D and and S15X-D. Super portable and loud enough for the bars I play in with my 300 watt head

This is my 11 yr old mix n match set. One each: 1x12, 1x15, 2x12, 2x15. The 2x15 will handle everything. But I installed the new Eminence Neo 3012HO in the TL806 (1x12), and it has been brilliant for all but the largest clubs, and outdoors. I also use this cab on top of the TL606 (1x15), which has the new Neo 3015. Though I am not thrilled with the mix of speaker sizes, this combination will handle everything the 2x15 cab will, but is easier to haul.

If you are handy, I'd highly recommend building a pair of TL806 (1x12) cabs, or the Greenboy 12/6 cab. Small, light (my 1x12 is 23 lbs), and potent.

In lieu of building your own, many of the "store-bought" 1x12 cabs in pairs will handle 90% of your gigs, and FoH will cover the remainder.

By the way, I'm also a 15s guy. Twelves, in the right cabinet, come oh-so close!

I have tried a 410, a 210 a 15/8/tweeter and now I go totally ampless with my cover band. I use a sansamp vtdeluxe, I use a decent monitor.
I too have a smallish car...my amp had to fit in the backseat as the trunk opening is small. The avatar 2x10 was great.
