Needing Info on a Spector

Can anyone give me some more info about this Spector?

All I know about it is that the model is called the NS2-B, it was made in the late '90s in Koreea. Any info on the preamp, the woods used for the body and neck and that little switch there?

I'm interesed in buying it, but nobody knows anything more about it.

Thank you a lot!

This is not a Kramer era Spector. After 91, Kramer was gone. Really tough to say what that wood is. Not much in the way of distinguishing features. That switch was not part the hazlab pre set up normally associated with this bass. What does the switch do?

Yes, it is an NS-2B, which is a Korean-made Kramer model produced between 1988 and 1990 (Link Removed). It has a maple neck, maple body wings, and rosewood board. The NS-2A had an Korean-made copy of the Hazlab preamp, but the NS-2B was passive, with two volume and two tone controls--I believe the switch was a pickup selector switch.

The one I had sounded brittle and lifeless at the same time. Hard to explain.

I think the original "Spector" pickups included with that model were actually "EMG Selects"...which weren't actually made by EMG. Be glad they're gone..they were noisy as all heck.

Good looking bass, tho.
