Your call. Both look good. Normally I'd slant toward tort but with the racing stripe you could go either way. Great looking bass.
The white pickguard complimented the white striping well. The tort….no.

It was only a matter of time before someone suggested tort racing stripes. LOL.
For my instruments, mother of toilet seat is never the answer. I'm glad you like it though.
More than tort, anyway.
I have eleven basses, not one with tort.
One with white pearl, though.

gotta compliment that stripe, the wht is visually more appealing on that bass....imo
