I am wondering if someone had experience of owning both the plugin and the amp/preamp pedal.

I am recording excellent sounds from the plugin and I would like to replicate the sound live and i am considering either the amp or the ultra preamp.

How close are the sounds, both clean and distorted?

You could carry a small PC or Laptop.
It doesn't take much to boot up with your plugins started and connected.
You don't need a full daw - look at: Kushview
Standby on laptops can last for hours and hours - so it doesn't even need to restart.
If you're a Mac user look at a mini-mac

Thank you for your answer. I am using also compressor and delay/reverb and I would like to avoid a software solution. I have mainstage 3 with plugins on a mac mini m1 but so far I had some problems that I would like to avoid live.
