That's a gorgeous picture, comet or no comet!This is from last Saturday night over Ocean City, NJ, but I've only just had time to process it. It was a hot, hazy night with some light clouds, the moon was in the sky, and the comet is fading, so it was much more difficult to capture than my shots from the prior weekend during the new moon on a clear night.

If you don't mind my asking, what camera / settings were you using for that?I think I'm just going to have to content myself with looking at other people's pictures on the internet. Summer in the South is just too [bleeping] humid for decent seeing. I caught a so-called "break" a few days ago where the sky was sorta clear-ish in between the every-blasted-day scattered storm cells, but even then, anything fainter than the highest-magnitude stars was indistinguishable from everything else around it.
