This gets my vote for the best one so far. I would even maybe put three exclamation points at the end. Hot Damn!!!

Hot Damn, Mercy Ma'am!!! Maybe even just Mercy Ma'am.

I also kind of liked whoever came up with Wet Velvet. Or maybe Sweet Velvet.

Just because she's a woman and has boobies and a vagina, don't choose a band name which reflects that unless the band members are 14-15 years old.

I also think "(insert name here) and the __________" are really lame band names. Although I'm sure the person that came up with it thinks they are an absolute comic genius. Usually those band names come across as trying to hard.

I think the best band names are one or two words and one to three syllables. Good luck.

Blondie and Heart covers are usually a good bet with female singers.

I thought that too as I was typing it. I like the Louisville Slugger connection too. I once wanted to name a band Lou Evil and the Sluggers or Lou E. Vile and the Sluggers. Maybe some more feminine variant and the Sluggers?

And I've never been a "and the..." hater but I also like old B drive-in movies too. In fact I just got off a tour backing two different roots/country/bluegrass artists on DB and was both a Bonepicker and an 80 Proof Boy. The mandolin player and I jokingly introduced ourselves as "the And Thes" and worked up a short act together. :)

Here’s a few tips....lol

Ok .....old guys standing around a hot chick in promo shots looks wrong. And i bet her gf’s and bf would be saying that too

So try and be a bit more in the background looking cool wearing sunnies or something or outdoors with a few props that distract your looks and focus on her.

I know the pretty reckless do this a bit

Also as Blue has said, here today gone tomorrow, i’ve seen that happen a few times in my bands, they get bored easily, so sort of plan for it. What i mean by this is, do some recordings and good promo’s shots to look as pro as you can be to give your next fem singer an idea on what you require out of a fem lead vox.

So band names, give her a stage name that can be carried by someone else, don’t use her name otherwise it will go with her and she will think its all about her.....plus if she leaves you’ll have to change your promo material and call all the venue owners to explain your still the same band

Thats it, i wont suggest names you already have a few good ones

This is great advice.

There's a fine line between cute and creepy. A bunch of middle-aged guys backing a young woman is already pretty close to that line. An over-sexualized name isn't going to help. ;)
