Guitarists, eh? :D
I don’t know. I once played in a loud band so i practiced at home with a big PA cranked up to play tapes i’d play along to. I played through 2 heads each atop a 215 cabinet and i’d blast the tapes and blast the bass. My nearest neighbor was about a quarter mile down the road and they said they could hear me when i played, but they never called the law.

Reactions: Oddly
When I was younger, about 30 years ago, a bunch of us had a "jam house" behind my folks place. We would hold up in this place blasting our amps and destroying our ears, not thinking about what it sounded like outside or what the neighbors thought. Once, after a long absence of playing there, one of the neighbor ladies asked why we hadn't been practicing any. They had missed getting to listen to us play. We thought it was great! The fact that in reality we sucked completely went over our heads, but they never called the law on us either.
