On another note, the 5 prototypes have homes, and should be shipping out in a day or two.
been listening to bootsy all day to get in the spirit of this filter..
can't wait to get my hands on the prototype. i'm among the lucky few..
will post recordings / review within a day or two of getting it (recordings with a band, that is.)

And, Spencer!, how about some teaser specs on that overdrive you mentioned?
Clips? Clips in a mix? You rock!
Spencer - do you have a release date in mind?

Clean boost and Marshall Bluesbreaker-type circuit (lowish-gain overdrive) run in parallel. Individual level controls for clean boost and overdrive, drive and tone controls on the overdrive side, lowpass filter control on the clean side and highpass filter on the OD side. The circuit isn't finished yet, but I have some stuff laid out on a breadboard and it sounds killer. It doesn't do crazy over-the-top distortion, but it's very responsive to dynamics and perfect for emulating a saturated tube amp. Sits great in a mix.

Wasn't planning on it.
