And, Spencer!, how about some teaser specs on that overdrive you mentioned? :hiding:

Clean boost and Marshall Bluesbreaker-type circuit (lowish-gain overdrive) run in parallel. Individual level controls for clean boost and overdrive, drive and tone controls on the overdrive side, lowpass filter control on the clean side and highpass filter on the OD side. The circuit isn't finished yet, but I have some stuff laid out on a breadboard and it sounds killer. It doesn't do crazy over-the-top distortion, but it's very responsive to dynamics and perfect for emulating a saturated tube amp. Sits great in a mix.

This sounds very nice. I'm a big fan of pedals that include blend controls and i see where you're going with the filters. I'm loving that sort of thing on the Aggie Octamizer.

Sounds like you'll have the circuits around to make another pedal I'd like to see. I currently use two boosts for solos: an Xotic Bass RC for clean boost and an Xotic Bass BB for slightly overdriven boost. I'd love to be able to switch between clean and overdriven boost on the same pedal, something like the T-rex Moller but for bass. And I'm pretty sure the T-rex clean boost only works when the overdrive is on, but the blend on the overdrive is very useful. I'd like to have eq on both channels though, so maybe this pedal would get out of hand.

I'm actually pretty happy with my Xotics at the moment, just thought I'd throw the thought out there.

Though, every pedal I can eliminate from my board makes space for another toy :D

Nice!!! I'm a low-gain overdrive kind of guy (my latest is a Catalinbread SFT, gain never goes above 9:00-10:00), so this sounds perfect for me!

it'll be with a hip hop band. fairly appropriate i'd say..

i have a funk band but wont be gigging with them for way longer than i'd dare let the TB community wait for soundclips.. about two weeks..

will just throw my zoom h4n up in the rehearsal room and give you all a room sound. stay tuned kiddies.

Need people to test? I play in a blues rock band and this sounds perfect.
