new 4 string bass player

i joined a highschool guitar club and the staff member had me really interested into 4 string basses. I ended up buying one from the Harbor college Swampmeet in Los Angeles. I haven't touched it until now but I cant figure out what kinda bass it is. I have no clue what the brand or model name is. Please help talkbass.

I think you'll be fine for your first experiences with it and the band. If you can afford it or your parents/guardians/trusted adult can help you out with it, take it to a music shop and get it set up properly. A good tech can make sure it plays well and comfortably, and it's worth the cost.
