New amp day! GK MB112.

Got me a GK MB112, and it's amazing!
This amp is a very small package, with a lot of punch, and grunt!
It's a very good practice amp, sound quality is flawless, and it's surprisingly powerful... I'm sure it'll handle it self fine is small gigs.

It's amazing, It's like MM Stingrays are bound to work flawlessly with GK amps.
I think I found my tone, although my dream is a GK head with Mesa cab, but that's not something I can afford or, need right now.
Lots of mid range punch and growl, with heavy bass!

In short, I finally found my tone, in a very small package... When I'll need more headroom, and I'll have a use for it, I'll get a head+cab combo, but till then, the GK MB112 is perfect!

Way to go with the new amp. I've been really wanting one too. After you have had it for awhile, let us know what all it can do and how. Is it a built in 4 ohm speaker, do you know? I understand there is no extension speaker jack available, correct? Does it have it's own voice or is it like the older GK stuff?

same as pairing they're MB200/500 to a single 12" speaker cab, though I know it's the same 12" from the neo cabs.

Hi - I'm hoping somebody can help me out. I just received my new MB112 and as soon as I switch it on, the fan starts and doesn't seem to want to stop (I've not even played through it yet!). I switch on the power button, there's a 1/2 second of red light which then moves to the blue light - but there's a very audible fan whirring away. Am I correct that this is not normal? Spoken with the dealer, who recommends letting it run for a while. Many thanks - Grant
