the one on the board end also stops the plug from fully seating so that can't be right...maybe time to take the thing in for service huh?

Going back through this thread I see that my post on page #2 plays back rather harshly. Allow me to change my response. I might purchase an Eden amplifier if it met my needs better than the competition and had developed an excellent track record for reliability...even if manufactured in China. Interestingly, the competition seems even tougher since I made that post.

This is not original Eden.
Someone else tried to fix that issue.
It might have worked, I guess the caps are dead.
Or it never worked and he just left it like that.
