New Ampeg BA-115 v2 - noise

Hello everyone. This is my first post and I want to ask for help about a concern:

Recently, I adquired a new Ampeg BA-115 v2. I have noticed a background noise that comes from the amp even when there is nothing plugged in the input.

I enclose a recording of the headphones output so that you can check the noise I am talking about. While recording I did the following:
0:00 - Amp is power off, the bass is not connected to the input, volume is set to 0 and the EQs are in the middle (5)
0:03 - Power on the amp
0:09 - Volume set to 10 (maximum)
0:11 - Volumen set to 5
0:14 - Treble set to 10
0:18 - Treble set to 5
0:21 - Treble set to 10
0:23 - Treble set to 5
0:33 - Power off the amp

I hope someone can say if this noise is normal or not in this new amp. I am really worried about this.

I don't own that amp, but I see the specs say it has an effects send and return. Just for kicks, run a patch cord from the effects out back into the effects in. I had an SVT-III that developed noise from dirty jacks in the effects loop. It's not uncommon, though it shouldn't happen in a brand-new amp.

Edit: I wasn't able to listen to the sound file before without encountering an error. I just managed to listen and it doesn't sound like effect loop noise to me, so maybe my suggestion is moot. It doesn't hurt to try, though, and it only takes a few seconds.

I think the input volume in the above recording was too high... Anyway, don't you hear any kind of noise with the headphones?

Very little. I use Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm Open-back Studio Headphones these at home and there is little to no noise.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried but there is no change. Still the noise is there.

I have just recorded a new clip in which I play the bass. Is that noise acceptable to you?

I played enough of these amps at GC and I'm super anal about any noise and I've never heard a noise like that from any of those amps.

I'm willing to bet you have a dirty ground.

Any noise in the ground will do that that's why a building with lots of important electronics...hospitals computer labs etc, run isolated ground outlets for specific areas.

I also tried to plug the amp to the power with a "no ground" adapter (only phase and neutral) ...

I've never tried no ground. Was there any change. Do you have a solid ground there at all? Try a meter phase to ground and make sure the ground returns to earth ground? Easiest solution would be to email ampeg. Thier service department replies pretty fast. I play the ba115 series for about 10/12 years. In fact I still have one. And at this point it's actually really just as noisey as yours. But mine has been absolutely beat on. For a while it would short out and my deummer would have to hit it like a snare. Or if I tightened the screws too much on the head. I replaced the head and it's still super noisey. But the speaker has also had it

Thanks for your answer. I have recorded a new clip (as in the firstone the noise was too amplified).
I'd appreciate it if you'd listen to the new clip (6 posts above) and comment is it is acceptable or not.
But, based on your comments, I think I have to contact the dealer as this is not normal...

I get an error when I try to listen, but I had one briefly and I did get a little white noise when the amp was on and i was not playing.

That is the case but even if the bass is not plugged in and the volume is 0 the white noise is still there.
BTW, I don't know why you aren't able to listen the recording. I have tried and I am able to listen it

Nice tone by the way and how far is the treble turned up?
