As a B15N owner, although I don't know the year, I would really like Ampeg to give or loan Jimmy one of the new offerings. In my mind when it comes to the B15 Jimmy is the MAN! I'd take his word over ANY Ampeg endorser in the world no matter how "famous".

honestly mark, i can't complain about noise with my 64. but if it gets even quieter, that can only be a good thing, especially for the studio.Looks like they've added a choke to the circuit. I had a '66 that had a choke added to it later in life and it was quiet. Not sure if that's what made the difference or not but it was an obvious component addition.
